Birmingham Bulldogs 2nd’s travelled to Wolverhampton looking for revenge for their defeat earlier in the year.  Starting the game with 12 players, and in searing heat, the Bulldogs soon raced into the lead scoring three unanswered tries.  The Warlords then had a brief purple patch but were unable to score after some fantastic defence on their own line by the Bulldogs,  three consecutive sets by the Warlords failing to register a score.  Back came the Bulldogs and 3 more scores before half time gave them a 34 - nil lead.

The second half started as the first had finished and after kicking off the Bulldogs regained the ball and scored.  Wolverhampton then managed to work a good field position and finally scored their first try of the game.  The bulldogs then went on to score a further two tries before the heat and Wolverhampton’s larger squad began to tell in the final quarter of the game.  Wolverhampton ran in four tries in the last quarter to leave the final result at 26- 50.
